  • If you find yourself visiting Anchorage, Alaska, you are going to want to see what makes Alaska what it is...MAJESTIC! I heartily recommend this tour, run by "907 Tours". Now, I may be biased about this, as our Driver/Guide "Chris" was just wonderful to spend time with. We were treated to a splendid sampling of Alaska that encompassed glaciers, glacial lakes, views from spectacular promontories, a truly eye opening wildlife greeting experience and a wealth of knowledge that you'd swear was too great to fit in one person's head! I couldn't have wished for a better day of Alaska than if I'd designed it myself! Tour with "907"; see Chris's Alaska! You will not be disappointed!

  • Stunning, impressive experience. Really enjoyed it. Kris was super knowledgable, and provided outstanding service. Great day trip.

  • Great tour for visitors on a limited stay in Anchorage like me. Kris, our guide, was an excellent host and was such delight during the whole trip. Definitely recommend!

  • This tour is a must for anyone visiting Anchorage. We got up close to a beautiful glacier, saw Beluga whales, visited an animal refuge, and saw lots of Salmon. Our guide Kris was a hoot! Very knowledgeable with an awesome repertoire of song and poems. Thanks for a memorable day Kris!

  • Kris was wonderful, funny and so knowledgeable about the area!!! We loved this tour! Saw a momma moose and two babies and a Dall sheep and two babies!!! Not to mention a wonderful tour, boat ride and really enjoyed the conservation center!

  • Saw lots of animals..weather was great. Driver was very knowledgeable and since it is a small group all your questions are answered.

  • This was a wonderful day trip. Our tour guide, Kris was very knowledgeable, friendly and very personable. It was definitely a small group tour with lots of exciting adventures and sights. I would highly recommend.

  • Gorgeous September day to drive up the Turnagain Arm, sail to Portage Glacier and visit the Wildlife Conservation Center. Our driver was very informative and very entertaining. Along the way there he pointed out the Beluga whales, eagles and a wolf running along side of us on the beach! Ended the day with a stop to see the salmon and then a view of Denali in the Chugach State Park near Flattop mountain. An unforgettable day!

  • Kris was our tour guide. He is a long time Anchorage area resident with a lot of experiences in the area. Our tour started with a beautiful day in Anchorage. Clear and sunny. We could see Denali from our hotel room in Anchorage. Kris took us to a viewing spot high in the hills of Anchorage so we could get a fantastic view of the area. We then drove along Turnagain Arm on our way to the Portage Glacier. Not a lot to see along the Turnagain Arm except for the Buluga whales which we did not see any. Once at the Portage Glacier area, we purchased lunch in the local lodge. Lunch was OK and expensive. The Portage Glacier cruise was fantastic as you get real close to the glacier for nice pictures and viewing. Cruise lasts about an hour. We then went to the Wildlife Wilderness Center. Overall the center has animals that were abandoned such as the bears which I believe were found in the wild with no mother. The bears were the highlight as they come close to the fence during feeding time and do a few things to get red meat. Overall the center is about 200 acres with a lot of wildlife that roam free (inside a fenced off area) but you get the feeling that center is struggling for money as have to ration the food, etc. Kris gave us a good tour of the center and was a great tour guide. I would recommend this tour if you have one day to spend in the area and want to get a good feel for what it is like.

  • Excellent variety of activities with a great tour guide who's enthusiasm was quite inspiring. Great views from the mountains nice glacier cruise and the animal preserve.
