Activity Highlights

This Covid-safe and dog-friendly small group tour is a great way to see the BEST waterfalls and views near Asheville in only a half day! Your guide shows you a mix of the biggest waterfalls and also “off the beaten path” waterfalls in Pisgah National Forest, home to 250+ waterfalls. We spend 4.5 hours visiting multi-tiered waterfalls, hidden pools, rock overhangs, and more! Your guide integrates hikes (according to your interests) for a total distance between 2-3 miles, walking at a leisurely pace and discussing the edible and medicinal properties of trees and wildflowers along the way. We then ascend to the Blue Ridge Parkway, enjoy wide-open vistas— with endless views of mountain peaks and fertile valleys (including the ones you just visited!) Guests may return to Asheville via the Blue Ridge Parkway, traveling through its iconic tunnels and soaking in even more stunning mountain views! Required footwear: sturdy tennis shoes or hiking boots. Recommended clothing: Rain wear (either rain jacket or poncho); multiple layers (for chilly mornings and higher elevation destinations). Guests must provide own transportation during tour.

  • The Falls were quite beautiful! And the View from the Parkway to end our day was awesome! Paul was extremely fun, professional, funny and if Botany is your thing , Paul is your man!

  • Emily was an amazing tour guide!!! She brought us to some amazing waterfalls and viewpoints. You can tell how passionate about nature she is and it shows. We appreciated her knowledge and really enjoyed our tour with her!!! The hikes were not strenuous. We got to see some local spots that we never would have found on our own. We highly recommend this tour!

  • Our tour was excellent! Our guide Paul was outstanding and had an abundance of knowledge from the Waterfalls to the foliage and the history of the area. My husband and I were the only ones on our tour so Paul went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. You can tell he loves his job and has a passion for what he does. He was a great photographer too. Thank you Paul... 5 stars are not enough for the experience we had!
