I arrived early for my scheduled tour, so I ordered from the cafe. Delicious ‘adult’ grilled cheese and tomato soup! Yes, cheese on the outside-Yummy! The tour was so interesting and educational. I thought the gift shop had the right amount of merchandise available to purchase. All the staff members were super helpful, pleasant and engaged in conversation with this Ohio gal. I purchased many items and they were delighted to ship it home for me.
We loved this tour! The food in the cafe was delicious and the staff are so welcoming and personable! We were lucky enough to get the owner as our guide for the tour and he was very informative and interesting. Plus they are in a beautiful location which was a nice change from the city touring we did the day before.
This was a fantastic experience. One the founding owners gave us a tour and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot about how olives are grown, harvested - and consumed! The tour was comprised of a trip to the olive orchard, as well as the manufacturing plant where they process the olives. They also have a good selection of olive oils and vinaigrette's for sampling, and for purchase. Overall a fun, informative and tasty experience which I would highly recommend to anyone looking for something to do near Austin, Texas.
Tour by one of the owners, into the olive grove and then the processing. Learned a lot about the production of olive oil and owners great about answering questions. Tasting room was quaint, would definitely take others when have visitors in town.
The owner, John Gambini, spent 10 minutes with us. He shared his knowledge and expertise as well as his vision for the olive oil industry in Texas. After visiting with him we enjoyed some gelato and bought a couple of bottles of his excellent olive oils.
This was a very interesting and informative tour. The young lady giving the tour was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. Great quick spring break adventure. Thank You
