It was fantastic! Had a great time and learned a lot. The time flew by, never a dull moment. Definitely will look into other tours.
We had an awesome experience. Our tour guide, Jim, was very knowledgeable, personable, and overall a chill guy. Very good story teller, even for those who don’t believe in ghosts. Highly recommend!
The guide was knowledgeable and funny really enjoy your stories she went in the reasonable pace mop we could keep up with
We booked this tour for our family because we wanted to see the sights of Austin and also learn a little fun/spooky history. We were not disappointed! Jim Is an excellent Story teller and kept us entertained and engaged the whole time (even our 9 year old)! Jim is extremely knowledgeable about Austin’s history and is passionate about sharing it with people. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Austin!
The tour guide, Andrew was very knowledgeable and engaged. The ghost stores were interesting and believable
I've done a few haunted tours in different cities, and this was one of my favorites. Jim was a great host, knowledgeable, and clearly loved telling the stories of haunted Austin. My only regret was that we weren't there long enough to take his new Murder Walk Tour, but we will the next time we come to Austin! Thanks for a great time, Jim!
Jim was very enthusiastic, but not over the top. I loved the way he told the stories. His timing was good. We didn’t take a long time anywhere and we didn’t speed through anything. I thought he knew his history, no duh! He’s a history teacher. I recommend taking this tour for history, entertainment and wonderful story telling.
We ended up getting a private tour since it was just the two of us who had booked, which was a bonus! Really awesome storyteller, and not cheesy. Not only did the tour have a really nice flow and was very informative, but our guide told us several other ghost related things we could do on our own as well. Highly recommend!
Our guide Mabel was lots of fun and an enjoyable person overall. It would have been great if more detailed places were able to be examined during the tour, but I understand things need to be limited as they are private businesses and still in operation. Altogether a fun and enlightening tour, that if nothing else, will give those who are naturally curios more reasons to google things
Just “ok”. For a quite seasoned haunted and history tour taker I have to say we were quite disappointed. We’ve taken over a dozen tours (most recently 3 in the past month in Savannah) and over a dozen the past 2 years in New Orleans, Austin, Williamsburg, and other cities. This was not the most exciting tour and the facts a little off.
It’s not that this took place during Covid, but there was definitely a lackluster to the tour. Our guide was sweet, but there something missing that could have added excitement.
