Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Not too much walking. Mainly discussing area around Congress Street and 2nd thru 6th streets. Guide did touch on Capitol building history, but did not actually go to the Capitol. Would highly recommend this tour for overview of city.
Great tour, highly recommend! Knowledgeable and interesting guide.
Good way to spend Saturday morning in Austin.
This was really fun! Jim, our tour giude was amazing! The fact that he had been a history teacher was such a plus. We could tell he really loved sharing his knowledge. We did this as a kick off to our weekend in Austin and it was a great stepping off point. I highly recommend!
Jim was a wonderful walking guide! He was interesting and very informative. His historical knowledge and stories made for an all around great introduction to Austin! We would definitely recommend to all!
Thank you very much Jim! We thoroughly enjoyed your company, knowledge and tour! One of the best walking tours we have done!
Morgan, our tour guide was informative and engaging. His knowledge of Austin history was impressive. Lots of extra tidbits of trivia were shared and questions encouraged and answered. Morgan will make a terrific high school history teacher. The tour was so much fun!
Jim was a fantastic historian and storyteller. His enthusiasm was infectious and he delivered a great walking tour. I learned about the history of Austin as a first time visitor. Highly recommend this to all.
Tour was very informative and our Quine was very knowledgeable and presented facts in detail. Would definitely go on another tour with him.
Jim came out on a drizzly day, when everyone but my husband and myself had cancelled. That in itself was pretty special and we were appreciative. He was highly informed (he is a historian), interesting and personable. I recommend this tour, and any of his other tours, very highly.
My tour guide, Jim (I think), was very knowledgeable and personable. The tour was a good pace. I would recommend the tour to a friend.
