Eddie was very informative and easy to talk with, very much a people person. He gave us a lot of interesting information about Austin … things we did not know and we lived in Austin for several years.
The food choices were excellent and restaurants we will visit again.
Tour leader was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. Time and distance allocations were excellent, as well as choice of restaurants.
We weren’t sure how much food we would be tasting but by the end of our tour we had to take home our dessert Joe was great giving us a background of the food we were eating as well as some history of Austin. We really enjoyed the fact that we were able to sit down at a table thus giving us a true feel of the restaurant. Food was diverse and delicious. Loved it. Thank you Joe. We’re going back to get more cookies.
My first time visiting Austin so this was a fun way to get a lay of the land.
Logan was a great host and very informative on the area. Food was tasty and interesting.
I even choose two of the establishments for dining with my husband during the remainder our visit.
Fantastic food in Austin!!!
We have been on plenty of food tours...this one wasn't quite what we were expecting. The name implied (to me) that we would be eating at places off the beaten track- lesser known establishments...however, every place we went to was pretty well known. The food was great, our guide was engaging (Logan). I'm not sure it's worth the price tag, though. Hence the 3 star rating.
