The Royal Kona Luau was very well run . Very organized and entertaining . The views are magnificent .
It was a really nice evening! The entertainment was fabulous the food was great! We really enjoyed ourselves!
Most memorable for this visit was the way the staff helped with my mom. She has trouble walking and needed assistance getting down to the venue and the parking attendant summoned a security cart to transport her. He went out of his way to see to it that she was alright. Also, when we were leaving she needed help getting to the car and one of the staff got her a chair to sit in while waiting and also helped her up out the chair. The servers while the event was going on we’re very attentive. Over all an awesome staff. They know what customer service is and how to show it. All went over and beyond what needed to be done and I so appreciate it. We had a wonderful time because of it. I definitely will recommend this venue and show to others. Thank you so much for a pleasant and enjoyable time.
So there were parts of us that though this would be corny/cheesy; however, it was not at all. The music was good to start the night and the show was very enjoyable — especially the fire show. The food was also very good with the pig being roasted on site during the day and being able to see the pit. Drinks (included with the package) were also flowing at our table. Our entire group enjoyed the show.
We had a great time. Great meal and service. The entertainment was professional and great. Recommended for all ages.
The sunset was a beautiful backdrop for the luau festivities (weather was perfect) and the food was delicious. However, our table was so far back, the view of the stage was poor. The show was well done but the content not as good as other luaus on the island.
This was my first Luau and I had a great time. Very well organized with what you would come to expect,; music, singing, dancing, a wonderful fire dancer, and plenty of drink and fantastic food. The best meal I had on the trip.
We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner and show. The food was excellent and the show was great fun. The only drawback was a sudden rainstorm. However, the attendants passed out disposable ponchos and we survived quite nicely, I do think they shortened the program as it was somewhat shorter than last year.
The staff did a great job of service to all. Food and drinks not nearly as good as last time we attended this luau. Entertainment was excellent.
I was very disappointed in this luau. We have been to a luau in Maui and this does not compare, especially considering how much we paid. The entertainers did a good job and the food was good but overall it wasn't worth the $230+ we paid for it. The waiter was kind of rude, the bartender was rude, no leis (only a seashell necklace), no hula lessons, etc. We visited Oahu and The Big Island and didn't get a lei from anyone. When we went to Oahu and Maui in 2013 we were greeted with leis, and wonderful hospitality from everyone. This time 90% of the people we encountered were very ungrateful. Trust me, we tried to be nice and make conversation with them too.
