Activity Highlights

We guarantee you will be enthralled by the unspoiled beauty of Kohala, the northernmost region of the Big Island. Perched among lofty trees, this canopy park features soaring tree platforms, 5 elevated suspension bridges and 9 thrilling ziplines. Exclusive features, such as the twin WhisperLines™,ensure you'll hear the sounds of the forest, not the sound of metal on metals from the ziplines.

After your aerial trekking, your adventure continues to explore a private mountain stream with waterfalls and ancient Hawaiian agricultural sites. Your destination is the Kohala Ditch Trail, built in the early 1900s to irrigate the surrounding former sugar plantation. Hike approximately 1.0 mile (1.6 km), passing blasted-out tunnels, ditches and an old aqueduct while your guide shares the history of the plantation and the construction of its impressive irrigation system. Throughout the moderately challenging hike, see multiple Kohala waterfalls. Stop at the last fall for a chance to jump into the refreshing pool. Take a break and enjoy a picnic lunch at a breathtaking private picnic area overlooking lush green valleys and 1,000 ft. sea cliffs plunging into the ocean.

  • My crew and I had so much fun! An experience that exceeded our expectations and more. Was a first for some of us to zip line and swim in waterfalls. We went on a beautiful day and Nick and Dylan were great tour hosts, we felt very comfortable and safe and we really appreciate the experience, the views and the laughs!

  • The tour guides were excellent and a lot of fun. They treated us very nice. We were so thankful that they could pick us up from their office in Kona, as we did not have a car to get to Hawi further north. They suited us up with our gear after arriving. We went to an area lush with trees in an army jeep that could get to the dense forest and jungle. There were a series of about 10 different ziplines that we went on. We were not expected to do so many but were thrilled every bit of the way. They provided us with jackets before-hand as it was raining quite a bit, but we didn't mind and enjoyed every moment. There were also different obstacles we went through like bridges and ended with a rappel down a rope after a final dual zipline with my partner and I (I won, but he won't admit that haha.) In all it was very fun. We ended by going with the main driver to a more hidden area with several waterfalls. It was so breathtaking, especially when I went in the water to swim (freezing! brace yourself if you do decide to do this). The driver then gave us a ride back to Kona. Be sure to bring cash for a tip, as these people deserve it! Very nice. Loved every minute. We had a fantastic day and made great memories.
