Easy clean enjoyable ride to Salem. We also enjoyed hearing some fun facts along the way about Boston, Marblehead and Salem.
We had a wonderful experience and received lots of knowledge of the history of Boston and the surrounding cities on our voyage to Historic Salem.
On time schedules, polite boat crew, passengers wear masks and social distancing. Clean facilities
Fast and friendly ferry and informative too! Would do again for a day trip to Salem. We took our luggage since this was our last stop on a 5 day trip and they had place to stow. Had some mimosas and enjoyed the view.
Very prompt -- both leaving and returning. Courteous crew. Very nice way to get a good look at the Boston skyline. Nice way to travel to Salem--appreciate the scenery and its faster than driving, and no parking problems.
Great way to get to Salem while enjoying the water and Boston skyline. Staff was phenomenal. Info was great
Great time .... loved the 50 minute ride to Salem and back to Boston. Highly recommend the high-speed ferry
Fantastic way to travel from Boston to Salem! The journey to and from Salem was part of the fun!. The trip took under 1 hour each way, offering food and drinks for sale and a beautiful view of Boston skyline on the return journey. Highly recommend!
It was a great way to travel from Boston to Salem. The guide on the ferry was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a lot of history about what we saw.
A fun way to get to Salem! Take the sunset ride back for a beautiful view of the skyline.
The Salem High-Speed Ferry was a great part of our experiences while we were in Boston! The Ferry was wonderful and our children loved the trip to and from Salem! Highly recommend this trip for a quick and easy way to go from Boston to Salem!
The ferry trip from Boston to Salem, as well as the return trip were delightful not at all crowded on Father's Day!, and expedient. For those interested, they offer cold beer with a lime and wine, along with sandwiches, wraps and snacks. Salem was an absolute delight, mostly due to our avoidance of anything witchy and the discovery of one of the most beautiful and interesting museums we have visited in the US - The Peabody Essex. Do not miss it! Finally, dinner at Turner's Seafood was a delicious and delightful experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our day in Salem.
Great way to get to Salem. Loved the place. Great witchy kitsch. Free trolley from harbour into centre is very welcome. Tourist information centre is great for getting bearings. Character actors in costume wander the street saying Good Morrow which was fun. Easy to change voucher for ticket at harbour kiosk by the Marriott hotel. Recommend café at corner of Essex and Washington St in Salem and their apple and cinnamon French toast.
This is the perfect way to get around and see other cities in MA. We took this Ferry to Salem then booked another trip to Provincetown, MA. Quick trip on a gorgeous day. Got to Salem in under an hour while admiring beautiful scenery. The staff is super nice and helpful. BOOK THIS FERRY!
Excellent ride highly recommend
Board the ferry, enjoy a beverage, arrive at destination. Trolley there at dock if needed. Close enough to walk.
It took only an hour each way to get back and forth. Great way to get to Salem and back.
Ferry trip to Salem was a great way to travel. Crew was entertaining and ferry was very comfortable
Superb way to get to Boston from Salem. Very comfortable and efficient. All the staff were friendly.
Clean cabinet, friendly staff, very informational commentary through the trip.
Good way to get to Salem. One small glitch - when I made the reservation, it apparently assigned me a specific departure time, which was not communicated to me. Fortunately, it was not a busy day and the person at the ticket booth was able to switch the tickets for me at no additional cost or inconvenience. I would do this again.
The Salem High-Speed Ferry is the way to go!
An absolute must-do. Beautiful 55 minute sail from Boston to Salem, see gorgeous homes on Marblehead, and soak up some sea air.
Employees very friendly. Narrator did a great job - pointing out landmarks along the way and providing some general information about Salem before we arrived.
