  • Hard to find tours during this Covid season, but this was a gem! Jack, our guide, was awesome and very informative as well as entertaining.

  • Highly recommend the Architecture River and Lake Tour. Thomas did an excellent job of narration of tour.

  • The tour was very well organized, they assured for safety, cleanliness and comfort (maybe some shade needed). Vince the tour guide was very good, I had a very good experience overall. Thank you.

  • We had a wonderful time. Our tour host was excellent, very informative and funny. He made the tour even better!! Would definitely recommend this tour to others.

  • I have done this tour twice now and feel like it is an excellent way to get to know a little bit more of the city and it’s architecture without overkill. It’s location is easy to find (just go to Wrigley building and go down the stairs to the river), the personnel are nice to deal with, and the boat is comfortable. The experience of going through a lock on a boat is fun and unique, and the overall views of the city from out on the lake are extraordinary. Although both guides I had were very knowledgeable, our first, an older gentleman, was better-paced and added more anecdotal information which was entertaining.

  • The weather was overcast. Fog was moving into the city. Seeing the city from the lake with the fog was amazing and then up close through the river was spectacular. To see the city from the lake and river is a must.. Too much to miss out if you are not doing both. The boat was clean and the staff was very professional. However the brightest spot was the tour guide. OMG did she know her stuff. Naming the architecture for every high rise was just mind boggling. I would take this tour again and again in a heart beat. I have taken other lake and river tours and this one is by far the best!

  • Took the Wendell Architectural Tour. Had taken one before, but this one was so much better! We went out into Lake Michigan! Excellent tour guide!

  • The tour was exceptional. I would suggest that the cafeteria has a better snack options. We ran to get into the cruise and we were without breakfast. If we had could gotten a sandwich or yogurt etc, the tour will be more pleasant.

  • How woukd you feel in a river tour surrounded by skyscrapers? I felt amazed. I will do it again next visit to chicago!!

  • It was a little difficult to understand the tour guide but other than that, it was a great tour. The views from Lake Michigan were worth it!
