Once the gateway to Denali National Park, this 135-mile gravel road is surrounded by pristine nature & is a photographer’s paradise. Snow-capped mountains, icy glaciers & panoramic vistas flank the Denali Highway. During your guided & narrated 100+ mile round trip excursion, there are opportunities to see Denali & wildlife (both weather permitting). New, 4-door, 4x4 Jeeps hug the dirt road, while comfortably seating four adults who can trade off driving. Each Jeep has a CB radio for communicating with the guide so stops can be made whenever desired. As driving the Denali Highway is prohibited by most rental vehicle companies, this exclusive excursion provides access to more of Alaska's spectacular scenery and wildlife & is a great alternative to crowded bus trips. Snacks & drinks provided. Must be 25 with license to drive.

This was exactly what I wanted to do. The keep ride was fun and the guide pointed out lots of sights and stopped for us to see the wildlife. I recommend this tour.

So fun driving a jeep through Denali National Park. We saw some moose but due to the weather were unable to see Denali Mt. McKinley. My husband and I shared a jeep with a nice couple from the UK who were a little nervous to drive on the right side of the road. Also a bonus was being picked up from our hotel McKinley Chalet and returned there afterwards. Great guides!

This excursion was good. Great views of Mt. McKinley. A bit disappointed because I thought we would see some wild life since it was a selling point and part of my reason for doing this activity.

you play follow the leader going 20-40 miles per hour with very little commentary and the road is not all that ruggered to require a Jeep 4x4. Was never taken off the beaten path using your Jeep's 4x4 power

Not what I expected at all. Had to share jeep with another couple. Could not hardly see anything from the back seat. Trip consisted of a long ride down a gravel road outside of park. Denali highway is not inside the park. Drove down the gravel road and turned around and came back the same way. Guides were very knowledgeable. Scenery was not that impressive. Forget seeing Denali! You will not! Might have been more enjoyable with only two people to the jeep, but after taking this tour I would not recommend it.
